I’m Taylor
I’m a farmer turned rancher in the rocky desert of Arizona. I’m the wife of a hard working cowboy & and the mother of one incredible baby girl (and some pretty cool critters). My little family inspires me constantly to bring nourishing food into our home & to find new ways to bring old traditions into our way of life. I love sharing about my love for food, natural living, and this beautiful life we enjoy.
My style of cooking comes from years of researching ancestral diets and finding my own healing in simple nutrition. When it comes to not only food, but life in general, I like to take a down to earth approach. I center all of my recipes around the nutrient-dense ingredients that we all crave— fresh dairy and eggs, seasonally grown fruits and vegetables, meats from nose to tail, properly prepared organic grains, & nutritious fats (enter: an abundance of butter). My recipes gleam from the work of Weston A. Price, Dr. Ray Peat, and others who sought ancestral priciples that honor biological needs. My little kitchen is full of mason jars and cast iron. Always on the counter is a little jar of sourdough starter that finds it’s way into most meals. I believe that food is medicine and I am passionate about taking control of your own health through nutrition and honoring God’s design for the body. That is what I’m all about. I’m happy you’re here.
