What Do You Need?

Here’s a list of ingredients you’ll need and some suitable substitutes:

  • 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 lbs (6-8 pieces) of skin-on bone-in chicken drumsticks. (hello collagen) You can sub for skin-on bone-in thighs too!
  • 3 tbsp avocado oil (olive oil works)
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  2. Toss all ingredients into a gallon freezer bag and massage the seasoning into the meat, insuring everything is covered.
  3. When you’re ready, remove the drumsticks from the back and line them out on the baking sheet.
  4. Place in the oven for about 45 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway for even cooking.
  5. Let them cool for 10 minutes before serving.

That’s it! I told you it was so simple.

What to Serve With Chicken Drumsticks

Anything, really! I love to to eat these with mashed potatoes or french fries & some kind of cool vegetable side dish like coleslaw, or my favorite creamy ranch cucumber radish salad. You can find some great sides to make here!

By the way, you can also season these bad boys in the morning and put them in the fridge to marinate until supper time. I can’t wait for you to try them.
